Biography

The abstract expressionist artist, Dodo Newman is a Berlin, Germany based artist. Born in Hungary and having lived in various parts of the World, she has had a living experience of the variety of backgrounds.

Growing up in a diplomatic family Dodo Newman traveled at a young age all around the world seeing the contrasts of communism, dictatorship, India, Islam, materialism, poverty, spirituality, tolerance. She gained life experiences from one extreme to the other, which helped in being open-minded to all kinds of life and later in her artistic expressions.

Passion cannot be learned, cannot be faked or copied. It is something that burns like fire, and if not kept alive, it soon can burn out. The source of my Passion has always been Love, Love from people being inspired by what I create and what I can give back.

Dodo Newman’s artworks can be found in many parts of the World. They are also collected by such people as members of the Saudi Royal family. Dodo Newman has created special dedications such as her commemorative artwork for HSH Princess Charlène of Monaco, which was selected to the Top Ultra- luxury items. She is also known for the 100th Anniversary of the Titanic Cultural Commemorative Project.
